Dr. Louis Larosiliere will be joining Concepts NREC as our new Director of Aerodynamic/Hydrodynamic Engineering in Wilder. Louis comes to us with a distinguished background in engineering, including work for General Electric, the U.S. Army Research Lab at NASA, the University of Tennessee Space Institute, Williams International, and Sverdrup. He has a Ph.D. in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, is a member of AIAA, and is on the Turbomachinery Committee of ASME.
Dr. Shuo Li will be joining Concepts NREC as a Senior Engineering Software Trainer / Project Manager in the Software Development group in Wilder. Dr. Li, who is scheduled to start May 8, has a Ph.D. (2005) in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, with a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Power Engineering prior to that.
Nick Baines has been selected to present the keynote address at the IMechE 8th International Conference on Turbocharging and Turbochargers. Presenting a paper of the type at the IMechE event reflects the respect that Nick's colleagues have for him and for his work in the turbocharger field. Nick's paper entitled, "The Turbocharging Challenge" was presented in May 2006 in London, U.K.
J. Ryan Donovan will be joining Concepts NREC as a Sales Manager/Staff Engineer - Government Business in our Sales and Marketing group. Ryan comes to us from his last job as Program Manager/Principal Investigator managing SBIR product development programs at Aspen Aerogels.
