Aerospace Laboratory Manager

The Aerospace Laboratory Manager oversees the development of rig testing activities for compressors, turbines and pumps at Concepts NREC’s in-house lab. The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of turbomachinery instrumentation and controls and broad experience developing test programs.

This individual will supervise and coordinate our highly-trained laboratory personnel in the assembly and test of both development and production rigs and equipment as well as have a hands-on role. A BSME degree is required with a minimum of 10 years of experience in an engineering test environment with 5 years’ supervisory experience desired.

Engineering Sales Manager (VT or MA)

Concepts NREC is seeking an exceptional Engineering Sales Manager.  This role requires substantial experience in turbomachinery design and development and the ability to build a high performing sales presence in the region.  The successful candidate will be responsible for market research, prospecting, shaping, proposal preparation and management, and closing large projects for Concepts NREC’s Engineering Business Unit.  The Engineering Sales Manager must be an effective member of the Concepts NREC Sales and Marketing team and form strong relationships with our channel partners. The manager will work closely with customers to refine their needs and offer complex and insightful long-term solutions. 

The candidate needs to be a team player with strong writing, organizational and interpersonal communication skills.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a must as well as strategic/business development experience.  A working familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or HubSpot is preferred.  Background must include past technical and sales experience in engineering services.  The candidate should possess a post-graduate degree in Engineering, have a technical foundation in turbomachinery, and a solid basis in business fundamentals. A minimum of 15 years of relevant Engineering and Sales experience is strongly preferred.  You must be willing to relocate to one of Concepts NREC locations in either Wilder or Chelmsford and able to travel both domestically and internationally.

Machinist (VT)

Concepts NREC, the world’s leading independent, full-service turbomachinery design, development, research, and training organization, is seeking a Machinist at our corporate headquarters in Vermont.  The successful candidate will be able to set up and operate lathes and mills and interpret blueprints and drawings. Responsibilities also include programming lathes and 3 Axis machine centers using CAM systems on a computer as well as at the machine. He or she will also determine work holding/fixturing methods and be able to hold tight dimension tolerances using various measuring equipment. A minimum of 5 years of experience is required, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent.

Regional Sales Manager (Europe)

Concepts NREC is seeking a Regional Sales Manager in Europe.  This person must have experience in turbomachinery design and development and possess the requisite skills to build a high performing sales presence in the region.  This innovative candidate will be responsible for driving profitable growth and will establish a mature sales pipeline for three business units:  Software, Engineering, and Mechanical Products.  The individual will plan all sales and business development activities with a focus on aligning Concepts NREC expertise with the client’s needs. The European Region will work in close collaboration with the Sales and Marketing team based in the US and prepare technical proposals, negotiate directly with customers, and provide excellent customer service and product support which includes trouble shooting.

Candidate will need to be a team player with strong organizational skills.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a must and a working familiarity with Microsoft CRM is preferred.  An ideal background includes past technical and sales experience in software and engineering services.  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field with a MS or equivalent advanced engineering degree highly desired.  A technical foundation in turbomachinery with a solid basis in business fundamentals is required. Experience in selling design or engineering software with 10 years of relevant sales experience is strongly preferred.  Must be able and willing to travel both domestically and internationally.

Software Engineer (MA)

Concepts NREC, the world’s leading independent, full-service turbomachinery design, development, research, and training organization is seeking a Software Engineer in our Chelmsford, Massachusetts location. 

The successful candidate will work on software development for our Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) system specialized for turbomachinery. This position reports to the Head of CAM Software Product Development. Strong mathematical and analytical skills are required to develop new geometry, toolpath, and simulation features. One to three years of related work experience is required. Geometric modeling kernel experience desired. A B.Sc. in Mathematics or Engineering is expected.
