Please join us online September 8-10 as we take a focused look at
two types of systems, sCO2 and ORC. (super critical carbon dioxide and organic rankine cycle). We will discuss the advantages and suitable applications and working conditions for each type of system. For sCO2 we will cover the unique issues the fluid presents in aerodynamic design. For ORC systems, we will give a specific example of a turbine designed for this cycle. We will also review and discuss software needed to design and manufacture related turbomachinery components, as well as give specific examples of power recovery equipment designed for various power levels, from 100 kW to 2.5 MW. Presentations will not include ITAR controlled material.
This series of presentations will be delivered online in two-hour segments over three days, and will include time for Q&A in each presentation.
