November 10 - 12, 2020 11:00 am - 1:30 pm EST

In this forum we will look at challenges related to the design of industrial compressor aerodynamic components.  We will cover both geared and ‘in-line’ configurations, and will discuss not only aerodynamic considerations, including new aerodynamic design approaches, but also the approach to structural analysis.  Advances in software tools for the design of both configurations will be reviewed, with design examples. In addition, manufacturing of these components will be discussed, including both CAM software approaches, as well as pure manufacturing considerations. Finally, several related topics will be discussed, from lab/development testing of these components, to product manufacturing.

This series of presentations will be delivered online in two-and-a-half-hour segments over three days, and will include time for Q&A in each presentation.
