Product & Manufacturing Parts Sales Manager

Concepts NREC, the world’s leading independent, full-service turbomachinery design, development, research, and training organization is seeking a Product & Manufacturing Parts Sales Manager. The successful Sales Manager will be a heavily sales and business strategy oriented individual responsible for identifying business growth opportunities and then driving profitable sales for our Manufactured Parts and Products Business Unit in the U.S. and Canada. The position requires an organized and detail-oriented individual that is comfortable working both collaboratively and making independent decisions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales and support activities in close collaboration with the products and marketing teams, and the Product Managers
  • Identify sales prospects and develop a sales strategy for each sales opportunity
  • Prepare product/pricing proposals, work with prospects, and negotiate directly with customers to close sales
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales goals as measured through bookings, revenue and net income
  • Report regularly (verbally and written) on activities, results and forecasting from within the territory
  • Help to develop and assist with the development of promotional material including sales literature, video content and related marketing materials as it relates to Products and Manufactured Parts Business Units
  • Assist with payments and account receivables from the customer base within the region
  • Interact with management, other internal Concepts NREC departments, sales staff, and outside vendors as needed to achieve objectives as a key member of the Concepts NREC sales management team

Education & Experience:  

A four-year degree from an accredited institution in an Engineering or related technical field.  Ten years of relevant sales or sales support experience in an industrial setting.  A strong background of technical sales and/or services for turbomachinery or high-speed rotating equipment industries is required. Direct exposure to the design and/or manufacturing of pumps, compressors, turbines, gas turbine engines, or other high-speed rotating equipment or associated parts is highly desirable.

Software Engineer (MA)

Concepts NREC, the world’s leading independent, full-service turbomachinery design, development, research, and training organization is seeking a Software Engineer.

Reporting to Concepts NREC's head of CAM software product development, this individual will work on software development for a specialized Computer Aided Manufacturing system. Strong mathematical and analytical skills are required to develop new geometry, toolpath, and simulation features. One to three years of related work experience is required. Experience with geometric modeling kernels, game development, or other visualization systems is desired. An undergraduate degree in a STEM field is expected.

Production Control Manager

Concepts NREC, the world’s leading independent, full-service turbomachinery design, development, research, and training organization is seeking a Production Control Manager.

Reporting to Concepts NREC's President of Engineering and Products, this individual will be responsible for all order fulfillment activities for Machined Parts and Dyno Products. The successful candidate will develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule and provide the organization with leadership and direction as needed to meet schedule commitments and support customer requirements. 

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field is required. Previous experience managing production or supply chains in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a low-volume/high-mix capacity is desired, as well as demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to succeed in a technical environment.

Lead Quality Engineer Technician 

Concepts NREC, the world’s leading independent, full-service turbomachinery design, development, research, and training organization is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer/Technician. Responsible for leadership of QC/Inspection efforts, including receiving inspection, in-process, and final product acceptance. Reviews and understands engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing; develops appropriate inspection plans/processes to ensure conformity to specifications. Mentors and develops Quality Control Inspectors. Plans, organizes and supervises quality engineering projects to analyze nonconformance trends, reduce scrap and improve quality, productivity and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, interpret, and classify quality characteristics for new and existing products and processes.
  • Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
  • Develop detailed inspection plans and methods using appropriate inspection tools such as CMM, gage blocks, calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauge, optical comparators, etc.
  • Review data from inspection results to ensure products’ conformance to internal & customer provided engineering drawings.
  • Analyze all nonconformity data to verify results. Interpret results, investigate root cause, and determine disposition, working with Product Management as necessary.
  • Lead and train workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity.
  • Provide technical expertise to manufacturing/products teams as necessary.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical/engineering field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality/manufacturing environment required
  • In-depth understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Detailed knowledge of coordinate metrology required
  • Experience operating and programming coordinate measuring machine preferred (Zeiss/Calypso is a plus)
  • Capable of leading quality team and making decisions autonomously
  • Aptitude in interpreting data and performing statistical analysis (SPC experience preferred)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
