Welcome Thomas Kudla, Senior Software Engineer at Concepts NREC

White River Junction, VT, USA – January 15, 2026— Concepts NREC, a global leader in end-to-end turbomachinery design and engineering solutions, is pleased to welcome Thomas Kudla, Senior Software Engineer, to the Agile Engineering Design System^® software development team. 

Kudla will develop and maintain AxCent^®, the company’s flagship software product used for detailed 3D geometric design and for rapid flow analysis of multi-staged axial and radial turbomachinery through streamline curvature. He most recently led a successful AFWERX deliverable, developing a software integration between AxCent and CTAADS™, a cooled turbine analysis tool, creating a seamless link between two world-class CAE platforms used in the aerospace and launch industries.

Thomas Kudla holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in the same discipline from the University of Dayton. He brings more than two decades of experience in CFD software development and aero-thermal engineering, with prior roles at the U.S. Air Force, GE Aviation, Brose Group, and the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (FMP). Kudla also served as a Lead Design Engineer for the GE9X engine, one of the most advanced commercial jet engines in service today.
