Ansys and Concepts NREC have partnered to deliver an automated end-to-end turbomachinery blade design workflow that speeds time to market and reduces design cycles.
By integrating Ansys CFX and Ansys TurboGrid into AxCent®, this "one-click" approach enables engineers to design and validate highly efficient machines, including compressors, turbines, pumps, fans, and turbochargers, before manufacturing.

Ansys CFX is the industry-leading CFO software for turbomachinery applications, renowned for its accuracy and reliability. Both solver and pre/post processing modules are wrapped in a modern, intuitive, and flexible GUI, with extensive capabilities for customization and automation using scripting and a powerful expression language. The pressure-based coupled solver provides robust solutions for low-speed to supersonic flow, with steady, transient and harmonic methods.
Ansys TurboGrid provides high-quality hexahedral, and hybrid meshes for turbomachinery applications, in a single meshing environment. It provides automated, scriptable and repeatable mesh generation capabilities in a simple-to-use, streamlined workspace. It can be applied to a wide variety of turbomachinery blade designs, producing block-structured hexahedral meshes and seamlessly incorporating unstructured mesh regions for complex blade features.
